PhD Program Regenerative Sciences

Prerequisits

In order to be eligible for the program you need to hold a master’s degree or equivalent in life or natural sciences, human or veterinary medicine, or in a biomedical engineering discipline. Furthermore, you need to have research experience, be highly motivated and have a well-documented interest in regenerative sciences. As the PhD Program Regenerative Sciences is an international program English is the language of instruction. Therefore, an excellent command of English is absolutely necessary. You can document your English proficiency either by a test such as TOEFL or IELTS or by documenting that you were already instructed in English at school or university. This documentation is waived for native speakers. Your fluency in English will be assessed during the interview.

Application Guidelines

The online application platform is jointly used by the three annual international PhD Programs of Hannover Biomedical Research School (HBRS): Molecular Medicine, Infection Biology, and Regenerative Sciences. You will be asked for your preferred 1st and 2nd choice.

Finance

About half of the students accepted into the program receive a stipend paid for by the program; the other half is paid by the respective research group. Thus, all students accepted into the program receive approximately € 1500 per month.
