International Ambassadors
As a main goal the REBIRTH International Ambassadors Program aims at building solid international bridges between the research groups of the Cluster of Excellence REBIRTH and top scientific institutions abroad. The REBIRTH International Ambassadors Program was initiated by Professor Renata Stripecke.
Most of the faculty members of this program were born and obtained undergraduate training in BRIC countries (Brasil, Russia, India and China) or other European countries and moved to Germany to obtain further graduate or post-graduate education. Therefore, as native speakers, they have a relevant cross-cultural advantage in bridging Germany with their countries of origin. Some of these faculty members speak additional languages or have relevant additional international experience. Many of them obtained fellowships from German funding agencies (such as DAAD, DFG) and know inherently the process of application and selection for fellowships. They have experienced the difficulties of adapting to a new language and culture. The Ambassadors in the Cluster of Excellence REBIRTH and in the PhD program Regenerative Sciences want to foster internationalization and international collaborations.
If you are interested in studying or working within REBIRTH please do not hesitate to contact our international Ambassadors.
